About Debra L. Gowen
Debra L. Gowen, President of Beyond Benefits, LLC, has been working in the employee benefits arena for the past 30 years. As Director of Sales & Marketing for a National Third Party Administrator, Debra gained extensive experience interfacing the marketing of administrative services with operational capabilities. Her insights have resulted in creative plan designs and immediate resolution of potential issues for her clients.
Debra understands the critical role the Stop Loss contract plays in protecting her client’s corporate assets and their budgets. Her expertise in contract analysis, negotiations and the coordination of reimbursable claims has resulted in significant savings for her clients.
She has served on the Board of Directors for the Indianapolis Association of Health Underwriters (IAHU), the Human Resource Association of Central Indiana (HRACI), was the Indiana State Director for the Self Insurance Institute of America and served on the Members Services Committee for the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce. She serves as a volunteer with Prevail, Inc. of Hamilton County, a nonprofit advocacy organization serving victims of violent crime.
